I penned this letter to the seniors, the class of 2012 or should I say my mentors, advisors, friends, and most importantly my role models.
I noticed that graduation has come around so quickly and, sadly, I want to get to see you all as much after May 26th to make me feel a satisfied, but I realized it’s for the best. I will not argue with that. I know that we have to go our separate ways to make contributions to the world, but it’s a bittersweet for me. I enjoyed the past year with you all and for some reason I don’t want you to go. But I know you have to go on with your lives. I know I should say good-bye but I will instead say “see you later” because I will get to see you hopefully again one day.
You all will be doing fine and successful in whatever career field you all choose. Thank you so much for being so great to me in these short nine months. You are have been so warm, kind, respectful, caring, and considerate to me even though I was a young freshmen getting his start in college life.
I gained so much from you all that I can take where I can teach to other students who enter college for the first time. All the seniors will be missed so much, and I wish I would have had more time with you all. Honestly, I never knew such an incredible set of seniors. In my previous school, I didn’t really know any seniors personally to look up to and go learn from. We had great times, bonded through our common aspects on life, and shared lessons I learned from all of you. Thank you for the love and care you gave me to feel even more secure when I was just starting a new life in a new place. The advice you offered me helped me be successful this past year and even more importantly in life.
I am filled with so many emotions with you all leaving, but the ones that stands out the most is happiness and pride for you all achieving your dreams of receiving a college degree. It has been a great pleasure and honor having the time that I had with you all. I will not say good-bye but I wll say “best wishes in fulfilling all of your hopes and dreams.” Good luck.
